Draft revision to IAFU
Standard Graduation Criteria (SGC); RN 3428-E
Summary: The Working
Group for Greater Inclusion (WGGI) has recommended
adding a new rule to the SGC.
Background: Worthy
individuals living in remote areas are denied their
right to an IAFU degree because they do not receive television
signals and thus, through no fault of
their own, cannot comply with SGC Rules 5 or 6. The
inherently discriminatory nature of these rules has
long needed rectification and deserves urgent
attention from the Institutional Rules Committee.
WGGI proposal: Add Rule
7 to mitigate the effects of Rules 5 and 6.
Rule 7 (Draft): Dog
heard on shortwave radio. If you live in a remote area
and do not have access to television broadcasting, but
instead rely on a shortwave radio for your news and
entertainment, and you have heard the barking,
panting, whimpering, or slobbering of a dog on said radio, you qualify for any degree not held by the dog.
